About this apartment rental
In an old stone farmhouse dating from 1887 nestled in the Chianti countryside among vineyards and olive groves, recently renovated, are three apartments: Thyme, Sage and Ramerino.
The Salvia apartment is located on the ground floor and is accessed directly from the shared garden. It consists of living/dining room, kitchen equipped with microwave oven, stove, dishwasher, large refrigerator with freezer, flat-screen TV and sofa bed, spacious double bedroom with private bathroom with shower. The apartment is furnished in Tuscan style with exposed beams, stone walls and terracotta floors. The apartment has a shared outdoor space with tables and chairs, deckchairs a barbecue and swimming pool. (Open from July 1 to August 30 )
You can relax and enjoy the view of the olive groves and vineyards and catch a glimpse of the towers of the medieval town of San Gimignano on the horizon in the distance, take walks or bike rides in the Tuscan countryside, use the barbecue and the large garden At guests' disposal free Wi Fi connection and a room with pool table.
The apartments are centrally located from which in about an hour you can reach the main cities of Tuscany such as Florence, Siena, Pisa and Lucca. The apartments are 3 km from Gambassi Terme, 10 km from Certaldo, 20 km from San Gimignano, 33 km from Volterra, 54 km from Siena and 45 km from Florence airport, the nearest airport. (The swimming pool is closed from October 1 to July 20.)

Wir wurden von Isabellas Nachbarin Ilaria empfangen und begrüßt. Auch Andrea, Isabellas Mann, war mit dabei. Statt des gebuchten kleinen Apartments (dort gab es wohl Probleme) haben wir ein großes im 1.Stock bekommen. Im Appartement hat es uns an nichts gefehlt! Wir kennen das auch anders in Italien. Alles war schön und sauber und es hatte eine schöne Aussicht. Zudem ist es ruhig gelegen und man kann mit den Hunden direkt vom Haus aus, ohne Leine, loslaufen. Toll!! Ilaria war ein wirklicher Schatz und jederzeit da um zu helfen, danke dafür!!
Leider scheint aber beim Anbieter Fewo das SMS System auf dem man dem Gastgeber Nachrichten zukommen lassen kann, oder eben andersrum, nicht zu funktionieren. Wir hatten das ebenerdige Appartement eben extra gemietet, da wir einen alten Hund haben, der keine Treppen steigen kann, ebenso ich mit Knieproblemen. Dies hatten wir im vorhandenen Nachrichtensystem auch übermittelt. Aber keine Antwort erhalten. Ebenso der Gastgeber, der uns wg des Tausches der Appartements angeschrieben hatte u sich über unsere "Nicht Antwort" wunderte. Schade, denn da sollte der Vermittler, sprich Fewo direkt, drauf achten! Trotzdem war es ein schöner, wenn auch aufgrund der Umstände ein "erschwerter" Urlaub

Ruhige Lage, mit dem Auto erreicht man dennoch die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten innerhalb einer Stunde.
