The room was comfortable enough and we appreciated the common space (a garden with tables and a lounge with coffee and a microwave). Location is very good too just minutes away from the centre of Cherbourg.
Our only problem was with checking in, we didn’t receive the access code by e-mail nor text, so I messaged the host a few hours before arrival but didn’t get an answer. We eventually had to call them when arriving, and it took 5 tries and an anxious wait outside before they answered. The lady over the phone wasn’t the most courteous and initially refused to give us the code because we booked through Agoda. Maybe book through another third party if you want to avoid an unpleasant experience.
