About this house rental
Our house is located on the hillside, at the foot of the forest, departure of many hiking trails. (PILON DU ROY)
This is our family house:
On the lower floor: 4 bedrooms (double bed) with closet and mosquito nets, bathroom and separate toilet.
Above: 1 bedroom (160/200 bed) with en-suite bathroom, and living area (open kitchen, living room, dining room).
Our house is cool in the summer, which allows us to live without air conditioning.
Outside, several areas to live: the pool, the restanque (shaded by oaks), the vault in front of the house which allows to rest in the cool, the summer living room very sunny and the outdoor dining area to the shelter from the sun.
We live there all year, which makes it a really practical home to live. (largely equipped kitchen)
The neighborhood is very calm. You will find all necessary shops within 5 minutes by car (village of Saint Savournin).
From us, you will go in 25 minutes maximum to the beach of Saint Cyr OR the beach of Carry le Rouet. We are 20 minutes from Aix en Provence and 20 minutes from Marseille.
If you love hiking, our massive Pilon du Roy awaits you for some walks with breathtaking views!
Our house is in a quiet place, we do not wish parties in our house.
The 7m by 4 pool has a flat bottom at 1m50. There is a ledge all around and steps. The pool can be protected by a security cover.
We have also in the families two cats bonnie and clyde, brother and sister. They live outside and are very calm.
Sheets and towels on request: supplement of 10 euros / person / stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful holiday with two families at Marie Ann and Fred’s place. A spacious house with all the comforts you could wish for, a lovely swimming pool, and nice seating areas in both sun and shade. The sun loungers by the pool were super comfortable. We had a bit of bad luck with some appliances, but everything was handled very quickly or immediately replaced by Marie Ann and Fred! The surroundings are perfect for walking and cycling, with beautiful cities (Aix and Marseille) and the beach just a short drive away (about 30 minutes). During our stay, Marie Ann was always available for tips and advice, which was ideal. The only thing we would have liked to know when booking is that there are two cats on the property, due to allergies. Since they could stay outside, it was manageable. All in all, we had a fantastic time!

We are a family of 7 - two teens, two adult children plus one partner and two parents -the house was perfect for our group, lots of space inside and out, beautifully presented and the pool and outside eating areas are really nice and convivial. The owners are extremely helpful and friendly and although this is their home, there is plenty of space to unpack and settle in. A trip into Aix is recommended.

The house is perfect, it had everything you could need and more, ice maker, coffee maker, comfortable beds, books, games... The pool was great, very clean and just the right temperature.
When the kids needed downtime, we could log into our netflix account and there was the playstation. We loved the outside kitchen and seating area.
Marie and family were so friendly and helpful, responding quickly to any questions we had. The location was great, very chilled, but with supermarket 3 mins away and we were at the beach in 25 mins.
All in all, a great holiday base.

A beautiful house with plenty of outside space to enjoy, including the outdoor kitchen and dining area, the patio and the pool area. Our host was gracious and extremely helpful. we had a wonderful stay.
