About this villa rental
Patrico is approved by Greek Tourism Organisation with license number: 1041K13003260101 & managed by "etouri vacation rental management".
Located in a peaceful village of Zouridi, Patrico is a historical traditional house oroginally built in 16th century and then renovated in 2016 to the form that you can see today.
The renovation was made with respect to its history and some modern additions, offering a cozy atmosphere throughout. It can accommodate 6 people in beds and up to 8 if necessary..
Indoor layout
Patrico consists of two buildings, the main house (180 sq. m) and the separate studio (35 sq. m).
Entering from the main gate of Patrico and as you go through the garden, you reach to the entrance of the main house. Entering the house on the ground floor there is a fully equipped functional kitchen and indoor dining area. Additionally there is an office space with a desk next to the dining area. The living room area with 32" HDTV with Netflix is found next to the kitchen and the dining areas. The ground floor also hosts a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with a shower.
Just outside of the main house, there is a staircase that leads you up to the veranda and outdoor WC.
A staircase leads you to the mezzanine of the house. There are two bedrooms, with a King-size bed.
The house is a stone-made house and it keeps a cool temperature even in the summer.
A baby cot can be accommodated in the living room area only.
Outdoor area
The beautifully landscaped outdoor area of the villa offers a variety of facilities and spots for relaxation.
More specifically our outdoor facilities include:
- Fully equipped barbecue area
- An outdoor dining table
- A variety of furnished spots (with sun beds, umbrellas, tables and chairs) for relaxing in the terrace and the garden around the villa
The whole outdoor area is totally private and fenced, offering full privacy to our guests.

Wir sind sehr spät angereist. Der Vermieter hat uns sehr liebevoll empfangen und uns alles schnell und detailliert erklärt. Wir hatten für den ersten Morgen einige Lebensmittel bestellt. Alles war perfekt im Kühlschrank vorhanden. Die Kommunikation, sowohl mit dem Vermieter als auch der Agentur lief sehr persönlich und professionell. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Das Haus ist mit unglaublich viel Liebe und Detailtreue restauriert und bietet allen Komfort, den man benötigt. Für die Kinder waren die vielen Ebenen, Terrassen, Winkel und Treppen perfekt zum Verstecken und für die Großen zum Chillen. Uralte Weinreben überranken die Pergolas über den Ruheterassen und spenden Schatten und süße Früchte. Das Hinterland ist traumhaft ruhig, der Ausblick Abends atemberaubend schön vom höchsten Punkt des Hauses. Wir empfehlen das Haus und die Leute, die sich so schön um uns gekümmert haben, definitiv gerne weiter.

This beautiful property is well equipped and spacious. The location is ideal for a quiet getaway with spectacular views of the mountain and surrounding countryside. The owner is friendly and attentive. The neighbours also made us feel very welcome. Would recommend this property.

My husband, my mother, my aunt and myself spent 9 days recently at Villa Patrico and I cannot recommend highly enough this beautiful house for a vacation in Crete.
Spacious with all amenities, full of character and tastefully renovated, peaceful and located in a traditional village near the atmospheric lake Kournas and lively Rethymno. The owners, Manolis and Doris, were so gracious, helpful and welcoming to us that I cannot thank them enough. As for Kostas and Sophia, the managing agents, they were very professional and ensured the process went smoothly from the booking process onwards.
It was certainly one of the best experiences we had in Crete since starting visiting 15 years ago and we shall certainly come back to this special place.
