We had a lovely weekend, we were able to rent a pontoon boat on the lake for a day and have very relaxing campfires in the evening. We wanted for nothing.

Cozy cabin. Nice beds and bedding. Decor was cute. Liked the magazines and that you could borrow movies from the host. Definitely need to bring your own good and drinks. Nearest store is 20 to 30 minutes away. Out in nature. Lovely during fall with leaves changing.

It was a nice little cabin/house! Very roomy when you first come inside. It was very cozy. Tim the host was very attentive and social. Plenty of linens and towels were supplied. Those are the pros of our stay.Some cons were the pictures showed are not a good actual depiction of the property. Neighbors extremely close. Owner lives behind this cabin(was around constantly). Mastiff and pittbull mix running around on property the whole stay. Barking and stalking next to our cabin They did not belong to the owner. I had to watch taking my small dogs out to potty etc. A neighbor was out daily on 4 wheelers. Owner was mowing grass on 2 occasions. There is no place to go for a walk unless you walk on the road where the cars drive. There were no movies in the cabin that I could find. Glad we brought some with us. The hideaway bed is all bent up and cant sleep or lay to watch movies. We had to move the tv into the bedroom so we could be comfortable. We rented this in the belief it was a quiet place to relax, disconnect and get some rest. Its gotten so loud in our neighborhood. We are selling and moving soon to our own quiet land. It is with a heavy heart i have to report that it was NOT Quiet at serenity cabin. It was loud pretty much the whole time. I think we had maybe 1 peaceful day before we left the next morning. I wanted to make this a yearly visit until we moved into ours. But that isnt going to happen now. We have to find another place for next year. Think i already did.
