About this apartment rental
The holiday apartment is the ideal place to relax for a while. The rural character and swimming pond certainly contribute to this. The entire upper floor is available and offers ample space for four people. The holiday home, in loft concept, consists of two sleeping areas, a TV corner, a dining room and a kitchenette. One bedroom consists of a separate lockable room with two separate beds and TV. In addition to a basic set of kitchen utensils, the kitchen also includes a fridge, freezer and micro-wave oven. Linen packages for the bedrooms, the bathroom and the kitchen are provided. Both the spacious garden, the swimming pond and the terrace are at the guests' disposal and are shared with the owners. A bbq is made available.
During the months of July and August, a stay starts and ends only on Monday.
The non-smoking apartment is suitable for 4 people and a baby. Pets are not allowed.

Very peaceful and rural area, but it's possible to walk and/or walk and get the bus into Bruges or Ghent etc. has a few lovely days via the train to Oostende in the sunshine. Lovely house, lovely host, even fresh eggs from the hens and local beers as a welcome gift.
Only downside was on the very hottest days of the heatwave it was super hot upstairs even with a fan, a portable AC unit could be beneficial in future summers.
Altogether though I would happily return!

We very much enjoyed staying at this terrific property. It was close to Brugge for daytime activities and a quiet retreat to relax at. The pool complete with Koi was delightfully refreshing. Many thanks to Bart and family.

5 stars for the location, apartment and the great hosts! Especially the large natural garden with swimming pool, generous sun and shade places in the immediate vicinity with friendly cows was a wonderful place for us to relax and feel good. The photos correspond to the actual conditions. We also found it great that the location is a good starting point for many worth seeing excursions (Belgian coast, Bruges and Ghent). We will be happy to come back!

Wir fanden die Wohnung eigentlich ganz nett. Es ist halt etwas eng dort unter dem Dach und es gibt kein Waschbecken im WC, dazu muss man ins Bad laufen, einmal quer durchs Wohnzimmer. Der Empfang durch die Vermieter war nicht besonders herzlich. Man wurde mehrfach ermahnt bitte nichts kaputt zu machen. Die Familie lebt im selben Haus und man fühlte sich wie ein störendes Element. Man grüßte nur sehr zurückhaltend und schien einer Konversation ablehnend gegenüber zu stehen. Aber Belgien ist super schön und Beernem ist gut gelegen, um viele Ausflüge zu unternehmen.
