It was a busy night. So there was no parking spot.

Although this hotel is tucked away in an outside location of the city, it was possible to take a 20 minute journey by bus into Aschaffenburg. This establishment is located on a thoroughfare which was very busy at times. We had a room at the back but this was overlooked by other fronts of houses, so wasn’t a very private room and had to keep the net curtains closed at most times. The food was good in the restaurant, but the menu was lacking in choices. The man in charge of the bar gave us a substitute wine foe one that they had sold out of and without telling us of the price served it up and then charged us double. Poor customer liaison here. For our second night we found a restaurant called Old Church Gastataette nearby that was excellent food and fantastic service at half the price. We shall not return.
