Renovated to a high standard and retaining many of its original features, this charming, semi-detached property in Ysbyty Ifan sleeping four people in two bedrooms.
This charming stone-built barn conversion is an 18th Century property set idyllically on a National Trust working hill farm. Positioned on the edge of the small village of Ysbyty Ifan, this lovely cottage lies just six miles from the popular town of Betws-y-Coed. There is lots to see and do in the local area, such as walking, cycling, bird watching and visits to Portmeirion and the Brenig and Bala lakes. There is also a wonderful zoo within easy driving distance, as well as the walled city of Chester.
Amenities: Oil central heating with electric fire in sitting area. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview and WiFi. All fuel & power inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, garden furniture & BBQ. Sorry, no smoking. Shop & pub 3 miles.

The cottage was approached by approximately 3 miles of single track road which was a little daunting until we became accustomed to the passing places. The cottage living area was large, well equipped and beautifully presented with fantastic views across the valley. The bedrooms were very spacious with loads of storage space. The cottage had bags of character and had been very sympathetically converted. Although we visited in July, the heating was available twice a day and there was always plenty of hot water. Mr & Mrs Roberts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Although the weather was not brilliant when we stayed, we still had a fantastic time and enjoyed returning to the cottage after a tiring day walking and sightseeing.
