Staff were amazing and helpful. In particular Fabienne Bruno and Maryne. Who helped with check in and things to do and see in the area. And prepared a plate of oysters we bought at the local farmers market. Which they said they wouldn't normally do. We thought they would just open them as they had the correct knifes but they prepared a bed of seaweed for the oysters and gave us a lemon.
Walls a little thin but nothing dreadful. And the haman was way to hot for both of us. We felt like a lobsters being cooked!

The location is nice, the restaurant is good and busy with local people too not only tourists. Room was nice we had a free upgrade with a balcony with the sea view.
It was a bit confusing to park with the car the first time.

The staff were super friendly and the location is the best.
I find this hard to answer as I want to be constructive and yet not disloyal to the super friendly and helpful staff. The reality was the hotel was tired and did not meet expectations and fell short of being value for money. A few points worthy of note:
My room was at the end of the building (132) and the walk to room was partly in darkness. They have auto lights that require the guest to activate the light each time via a switch on the wall as they walk down the corridor. These light switches are backlit so you can see them. I learnt this quickly as part of the journey had to be in darkness as the first switch was not immediately accessible. Out side my room the bulb had gone (pic), making the key hard to fit in to the lock.
The room itself was OK. The TV must be c.10+ years old and was c.3m to the left if the bed on the a sideboard/dressing table (pic). I had to move the TV so I could see it from the bed. It had no modern app/channels or modern access to Apps for watching English speaking channels.
The air con was non-existent and circulated the warm air. The first night was too warm and I could not adjust the temp (pic). I sought help the next day and two members of staff couldn't resolve it either and I spent the second night too warm. I paid for air con... and didn't get it.
There was one spare plug socket for charging anything. The others were occupied with lights and TV/Phone lines. The staff lent me a charger which I used in a bedside light socket.
The bathroom was old and tired. The door was starting to rot at the bottom (pic) and there was a blackening of the bottom of the shower door (pic).
The room was clean, but the housekeeping was poor. I didn't get any refills to my used bottles of complimentary shower gels, the old one was left for me the next day. The used towel was still there the next day (pic), albeit a new one had been delivered. Not a problem but indicative of the lack of attention detail.
Overall, a shame.
