Nahezu alles perfekt: die Lage, die Ausstattung, der Kontakt mit den Eheleuten Maier.
Das Appartement befindet sich in einem Neubaukomplex direkt am Bahnhof Fischbach. Bis zur Bushaltestelle ca. 4 Minuten Fußweg. Mit dem Aufzug in der Wohnanlage fährt man praktisch bis zum Eingang eines gut sortierten Edeka-Marktes. Absolut ruhige Lage. Keine Lärmbelästigung durch den Bahnverkehr.
Das Appartement ist optimal ausgestattet. Sehr bequeme Betten. Mit dem Zug ist man in 10 Minuten im Zentrum von Friedrichshafen.
Das Internet-Fernsehen funktionierte nicht, was jedoch nicht als Nachteil empfunden wurde. Zu bemängeln gibt es im Grunde nichts. Als eher unzweckmäßig für die Zwecke einer Vermietung wurde der elegante Esstisch mit den abgewinkelten Kanten und der feinen Lackschicht empfunden. Kleinere Schäden am Lack waren bei übernahme des Appartements festzustellen . Dass der Behälter mit Flüssigseife in der Dusche nicht befüllt war, sei nur am Rande noch erwähnt.
Positiv anzumerken ist schließlich noch, dass jeder Gast Kurtaxe an die Stadt Friedrichshafen zahlt und dafür freie Fahrt mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln fast im gesamten deutschen Bodenseegebiet genießt.

The apartment Hochsten is very comfortable, clean, modern and well equipped with very nice furnishings and appliances. The location was perfect for us, we parked our car in the underground garage and only used the train and our bicycles to get around. The ECHT tourist card provides free access to the trains between Lindau and Sipplingen. To go further afield into Austria and Switzerland simply buy top up tickets. Fischbach is a nice area with easy access to Friedrichshafen. The grocery shop in the basement sells everything you need, with daily fresh bread. There is also a cycle store in the building and taking bicycles on trains is easy. Overall a very pleasant and enjoyable stay on Lake Constance! The owner is very pleasant and responsive. Thank you.

Great service form start to end, excellent facilities, we wished we coould have stayed longer. Even on departure, after we had checked out the owner came and asked for our opinion and to say goodbye... very nice touch.

The Ferienwohnung Höchsten apartment in Friedrichshafen is very well furnished and has all the items needed in a modern home: Full kitchen with utensils, appliances, including dishwasher, electric oven, microwave, vacuum cleaner, among others. In the basement there is a washing machine and dryer.
The apartment is very spacious, with a kitchen room connected, a large bathroom and a closet. The building is modern, with an elevator and the apartment we stayed in is on the 1st floor overlooking an internal courtyard of the building. On the ground floor there is a supermarket which makes life very easy. There is a balcony with table and chairs. Large windows /wide glass doors give access to the balcony and guarantee great day-light,
There is an easily accessible parking space in basement. About 50m from the apartment there is a local train station that allows access to downtown and FHN and nearby cities.
The host, Mr Maier, was kind and attentive.
In-time: Wi-Fi & Internet access area very good.
The only negative point in our opinion is that there is no air conditioning. On hot days the apartment warms up reasonably. Leaving the balcony doors open is not feasible due to the system of electric shutters which, when closed, prevent cooling. If the shutters are open, the brightness of the day prevents you from sleeping
