Just 5 km from the center of Cisternino and a few minutes from the wonderful coast of Puglia, there is "Al Trullo Sovrano", a structure of the mid-800, of 200 square meters inside and 6000 square meters outside.
With five cones and two lamias, the property offers 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large kitchen, dining room and living room, comfortably accommodating 9 people.
We are just minutes from the wonderful sea of Puglia and some of the most characteristic historical centers: Martina Franca (10km), Alberobello (15km) and Ostuni (18km).
The "Al Trullo Sovrano", a characteristic structure developed on two levels - a rarity that in the literature gives it the name of sovereign trullo - recently restored respecting the local tradition, with the architecture of squared stones in sight, forming domes intersected with arches , transmits an almost prehistoric idea, which recalls in the care and for the precision of the realization some Romanesque churches.
The typical cone structure will ensure that you can spend a cool stay even in the most torrid days of the summer months, and a warm winter pampered by the crackling of the wood of the two fireplaces and an independent heating system.
Thanks to its excellent position, close to the inhabited centers and at the same time reserved for the proximity to the sea, the farm lends itself to be used as a holiday home with friends or family.
Living in a trullo, even if for a few days it is a unique experience that takes us back in time and makes us rediscover the great local tradition.
With the streets bordered by the characteristic dry-stone walls and an intact landscape with the typical dark-red earth on which the white limestone of the stones stands out, the context is almost fairytale.
The view sweeps over the centuries-old olive groves, vineyard hills and oak forests.
Upon your arrival I will show you the structure in every detail, I will recommend the areas to visit, the restaurants and the characteristic places and the most beautiful and less crowded beaches of our area. We spent three nights at Pietro’s home. The reconstruction of his old family house has been beautifully accomplished. It is located in a rural area, so having a car is essential. We loved the region and Pietro was a fantastic host

Très belle maison traditionnelle dans le centre des Pouilles, bien équipée. La terrasse est aussi très agréable. L'environnement est très clame et ombragé. Un seul bémol, pas très clair dans l'annonce, seulement deux chambres sont indépendantes. L'escalier qui dessert la pièce du haut (pls ou moins séparée en deux chambres) part de la chambre 3 du rez de chaussée. La climatisation est uniquement au premier étage, mais l'architecture de la maison et l'épaisseur des murs fait qu'elle n'est pas nécessaire au rez de chaussée.
Dans la région beaucoup de très jolies petites villes toutes blanches à visiter, la mer n'est pas très loin.
Le propriétaire est très sympathique.
Nous recommandons cette belle maison où nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances.

The three of us enjoyed our week at Pietros trulli house. Most of all, we loved sitting out on the shaded terrace where we spent many hours eating, drinking and relaxing. It was nice to be in such a quiet and private setting looking over trees and fields. The inside of the house was also comfortable, attractively decorated and well equipped. The lovely shapes and colour of the stonework of the trulli were delightful.Communication with Pietro was easy and he responded promptly to any questions. He also showed us around the local town of Cisternino.It is a great location for day trips to the best towns and villages of Puglia - Cisternino, Locorotondo, Martina France, Poligno a Mare, Ostuni are easy to reach and even Lecce and Trani are comfortable day trips. Larger groups should note there is only one bathroom and a second toilet/laundry room.
