The breakfast was excellent, esp impressed with the home made jams to go with the crepes. Was really happy I was able to bring some jams home.
The mattress can be improved slightly.

Nice room and outside terrace. Secure parking and pool, though we didn't use the pool. Plenty of hot water and the ensuite was a good size. One free car charger from a standard socket.
Owner wasn't very welcoming, couldn't check us in quick enough...later learned that he was going away, hence the rush. The room was a good size. Unfortunately all the towels were smelly, clean but really musty smelling and I couldn't find anyone around to ask for new ones.
The outside lights came on when we drove in but then quickly went off so we had to use our phone torches to get around, not a deal breaker but disappointing as there clearly are lights there.
Felt end of season and a bit uncared about overall.

Bed super comfy & very big bed host every friendly & welcoming
Breakfast really tasty
We found the road to the house but out of the way & narrow plus had to ask for directions as missed it as not really clear
I thought breakfast was included in the price & was a little surprised it was t
No coffee machine in room , only a kettle & instant coffee
Check in is t from 1700 & check out was1100 so for an overnight stay it was a little expensive for the time we actually spent there
