Valenti rooms

The room was comfortable and adequate for our three guests to stay for a night. Not very spacious, but not cramped either. It was a functional unit which served our needs well for a short stay in Split. Our host was very helpful and responsive to requests about check in time, and arranged for us to leave our luggage after checkout to complete a tour of Diocletian's Palace, before returning to the apartment to pick them up.

That the unit was on an upper floor - and each floor was quite a steep and hard climb with luggage. This information is NOT very clearly mentioned in the description - and I feel it should, that Booking.com ought to make sure this is done... because it is definitely something that would have made us choose another alternative. Whenever there are two flights of steep stairs to climb, I feel it's unacceptable to bury that fact in the small details, or in a review. It should be highlighted - as it's an important deciding factor. All other aspects of the listing were fine - just this significant fact of the stairs (and absence of an elevator/lift)

The staff are exceptional here. They are so kind and helpful. The room is basic, clean And comfortable. Very helpful staff helped me with my bags. AC works great and I appreciated the fridge.

Many steps to the room! 5 sets of stairs which were very difficult for me but I understand it's zn old building except I did not find any information about stairs. I should have written in advance. Also the bed is very low so also difficult for an older person.

Facilities, location, cleanliness

Lived my peaceful stay at Valenti Rooms, the bathroom was exceptionally clean, the offering of coffee and tea in room was lovely. Comfy bed; cute decor, easy walk to town core and sightseeing, would stay again for sure.
