About this house rental
NOTE: Max occupancy is 14 guests over the age of 5 years. Guests 5 and under do not count towards the occupancy limit. Due to an allergy in our family we are not able to host any animals. If you do bring an animal to our home, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee of $500+ to have the home cleaned by a professional allergen removal company.
Our second home is located in a subdivision of Montgomery Estates. It is located right off Pioneer Trail (we do get street noise on one side of house) so it's easy to head to Heavenly or Sierra-at-Tahoe. The house was remodeled in 2018 and has over 3800 sq ft of living space with 7 bedrooms and 4.5 baths. We are 2 miles from Heavenly, 3 miles from the lake and 4 miles to the casinos. Located nearby are hiking trails and access to Trout Creek.
Our home is a spacious 7BR/4.5BA located right off Pioneer Trail. The main living area has 55" HD TV. YouTubeTV is provided. The first floor has been furnished with all bamboo flooring. The kitchen is equipped with a good sized island and stainless steel appliances. We have a 36" cooktop with chimney hood.
The small deck has a 8 person hot tub with 88 Jets and a waterfall. There is also a propane grill available on the deck. We have a full size pool table with a ping pong table top. We have lots of books for those that like to read and board games for those that like to play. In the dining room, we have a multi-Arcade system that includes 10+ games including Joust, Defender, and Mortal Kombat.
Six of the bedrooms are located upstairs while the last bedroom is converted from our study room on the main floor. All 4 full baths are upstairs while there is only a half bath downstairs. The sleeping arrangements are as follows:

Master Suite 2 - CalKing w/ TV
Bedroom 3 - Queen
Bedroom 4 - Queen
Bedroom 5 - Full
Bedroom 6 - T/T T/T bunk beds w/ streaming only TV

We have 3 exterior cameras located on the property. The cameras have views of the 3 entry points to the home (driveway, front door, back deck). There is one room that guests will not have access to that is used to store our supplies.

Our group of 10 had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Very convenient location, very comfortable and well-supplied. Luke the owner was very responsive to inquiries and helped make everything easy. The 5-year old in our group loved the video game, and several of the rest of us loved the pool table. We'd definitely return to this home given the chance.

We had a great stay in a great location. Hosts were very communicative before during and after our stay. The house was as presented and provided us a very comfortable stay.

Generally loathe to leave a less than 4-5 star review online, but our party was disappointed with enough aspects of this rental that it merited sharing.
Primary Cons
1. House lacked general upkeep, stains on coffee table, dings in walls thoughout house, linens were very dated, hot tub was dirty on arrival. It doesnt seem like anyone spends money with regularity to keep this property up. Very little attention to aesthetic decor or making the home feel like a luxury vacation home .
2. Beds were uncomfortable and the all the bedrooms were quite spartan in furniture and decor. The term used by most was "college crash pad". We had party who opted to stay at a hotel rather than sleep in the house for the week because of this.
3. Large unsafe ice chunk laden driveway that was not remediated before our arrival . There had been no snow for over a week prior to our arrival or after, and for the maintenance costs tacked on to this property this should have been handled. It made getting bags/groceries etc in and out of cars very unsafe.
