Super Location and a comfortable room in an historic building

Athos Guesthouse is located in a central position in Kotor’s Old Town.
The rooms are on the first and second floors of the building, while on the ground floor there is a bar/restaurant open both to guests and to the general public.
The staff are kind and helpful, even though they also have to run the bar at the same time.
There is a nightclub next door, but they make sure to point this out at the time of booking.
Breakfast starts at 9:00 a.m., when the bar opens, and the waiting time depends on how many customers there are besides the guests.
Pancakes, crêpes, coffee, cappuccino, eggs, etc.
Anyone who wants to spend a full day at the beach or go on an excursion risks leaving late in the morning.
The bathroom needs to be cleaned and managed better.
Towels had a strong smell of smoke.

Great old town location, room was cute! Not as noisy from the surrounding bars as other reviews said (windows when closed blocked a lot of the noise). Owners were lovely. And I think the property should be higher rated..
Hot water for shower didn't work, only negative.. they were getting it fixed. Also, DON'T DRINK THE WATER HERE! Made me sick. Also narrow steps - fine for us..

The staff and the location. Perfect in the center and the staff gave me free water and luggage storage for the day
