We had a fantastic stay at Villa Balimu in Seminyak. The villa itself was spacious, clean, and perfect for families – our kids absolutely loved the pool, and having plenty of room to spread out made a big difference compared to a hotel.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful without being intrusive. They assisted with anything we needed and made the stay feel really easy and relaxed.
Location wise, it was in a convenient spot – close enough to restaurants and shops, but still quiet and private inside and outside the villa. We found it easy to get around using Grab/Gojek.
Overalls, we thought it was great value for money (especially for the space and privacy you get), and we will definitely be back again!
A special thanks to the villa staff again for making our stay relaxing and memorable. The complimentary laundry every day made a huge difference. :)
Honestly, there wasn’t a thing we didn’t like about the place! Maybe forgetting our phone chargers were downstairs whilst being tucked in upstairs lol. The place was that big haha. The retractable glass windows to keep the mosquitos away at night was a godsend! Something other villas don’t have.

Location. Friendly house keeping staff who were very helpful and were very punctual with breakfast and other requests we had
Wooden flooring near pool was broken making some of the area a hazard. Some finishing touches on the property were broken (door handles, some of the air conditioning units). The staff were very understanding and certainly nothing more they could do to help, more maintenance on the property by labourers would be needed

We loved the location of the villa to all the places we wanted to visit by foot. Particularly Ku De Ta, Potatohead and Mrs Sippy. It’s also close to many great restaurants and bars. Very central. The villa itself was very comfortable with all amenities included. Beds are firm which I love. The pool area was clean and calming to look over with daybeds and shade.
We loved our host Mitha and her team. Breakfast was enjoyable and she helped us with some washing & ironing. She was integral in our stay especially asking the workman next door to quiten for an hour or so so we could sit by the pool on our last day.
The decking around the pool needs replacing. It’s bowing and dangerous. I certainly had bleeding stubbed toes after trying to walk across it. The pool is fine for adults but I can’t imagine young kids here without floaters. None of us could touch the bottom and there didn’t seem to be a shallow end as such.
Although we are people who normally complain - the surrounding noise from ongoing construction was almost unbearable. It was difficult to even have a conversation inside let alone sitting outside by the pool. We decided the best idea was to spend most of the day out of the villa for some peace. If we had known we would have booked elsewhere, so check what phase construction next door is at. The management of the villa were good offering apologies & we are awaiting compensation for our discomfort. We would happily stay again once the construction is completed.
