During the winter mounth, a wood burning fireplace will gently warm your evenings. We always put in the flat a basket with firewood that you can use. During the summer and on sunny days in the winter you can have breakfast on the balcony or sunbathe on the tower, enjoying a splendid view of the Gulf of Sanremo.

The flat is completely independent and you will enjoy complete freedom.
We will be always happy to welcome our guest and advise them on places to see, restaurants and give them any information they ask for.

A short walk from our flat there is a bike path along the “Riviera dei fiori” opened just a few years ago.
Its trail follows the route of the old 19th century rail-road and runs for 24 kms, on the edge of the Mediterranean Sea touching small towns and villages such as Ospedaletti, Bussana, Arma, Riva and San Lorenzo. From the cycle path you can access bays and beaches, stop for a bathe or sunbathe, enjoy a meal at the several restaurants that are both on the track and on the beaches.
Ten metres from the house you enter the park of “Villa Ormond” with its secular and tropical trees; at 100 metres there is “Villa Nobel” and its park, where Alfred Nobel lived and died. Nearly there is “Villa Zirio”, residence of Prince Frederic William of Prussia.
At 150 metres, in the park of the Mediterranee there is the Olympic swimming-pool, where is possible to swim, sunbathe, have a good meal, access to the bike path and hire a bike.
Our neighbourhood is called San Martino and is a residential quarter with ice shops. Westwards there's Corso Garibaldi with shops and supermarkets; past Piazza Colombo, you are in Via Matteotti, with the Ariston Theatre (where the Italian Song Festival is held in February) its luxury boutiques, The Casinò, and the Russian Church.
From Via Matteotti you can access the Medioeval town centre, known as “La Pigna” where many cultural and musical events are kept in summer.
Near our house there is the marina with its yatchs and restaurants; towards the old port there is the disco “Victory Morgana” with beach, Piazza Bresca, the place of the city night life full of pubs and restaurants.

To reach our accomodation by plane, the nearest airport is Nice (France) or alternatively Genoa. From the airport you can reach Sanremo by train or renting a car. Our accomodation is at 7 minute walk from Sanremo railway station and has parking inside the property.
The nearby station allows you to reach Montecarlo and the French Riviera in a short time, while the Ligurian hinterland offers a large variety of villages thet are worth a visit (Dolceacqua Pigna, Apricale, Bussana , Taggia, Triora) with restaurants where you can enjoy dishes of the local cuisine.
In Bordighera you can visit Villa Regina Margherita, the winter residence of the last queen of Italy, now a museum and seat of Terruzzi Collection.
Near Ventimiglia you can visit the beautiful botanic park of “Villa Hambury” crossed by the ancient Roman road Aurelia.
In Sanremo the bathing season is from May to September and our Riviera enjoys a mild climate all year round.
Remember: In February the Italian Song Festival attracts many Italina and foreign artists.
In April “Sanremo in fiore” with many floreal floats.
In May “Le Gran Prix de Monaco” with the possibility to see le Gran Prix from the port in a boat, booking tickets in time (we can do it for you).

We were welcomed by the owners on our arrival. They spent time showing us around the property and explaining the best places to visit in the area. The property was a home from home. We used the roof terrace quite a lot and the view from there was lovely to see over our cup of tea at breakfast time. The location was excellent for local amenities and for exploring the area. The local train station was a short stroll away which allowed us to explore further afield. This also means that car hire is not necessary as the train can be caught direct from Nice airport and with a simple change, arrive almost at the doorstep of this property. We would recommend this property to anyone thinking of renting it. We certainly will be returning some time to continue our exploration of Italy. Another shout out to the most welcoming and friendliest of property owners.

What a wonderful gem we found to stay in. Andrea & Lara were wonderful hosts and helpful from our first encounter on the phone to last minute when we left their gorgeous apartmentFrom meeting with them they were very informative and gave us a great insight into what we can do while in Sanremo. All of the information became extremely useful. They were only a call away if we needed anything and nothing was to much trouble. We would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful apartment as you will have an amazing stay and time.
