About this house rental
Charming cottage near one of Denmark's best and most child-friendly sandy beaches with beautiful dunes.
The house has a nice large living and dining room, from the living room exit to the open terrace. There is also a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and bathroom with shower. In the garden there is a trampoline that can be used at your own risk.
In the area there is the possibility to go to the art museum, play golf or tennis or take advantage of the really good fishing opportunities on the shores. You can also just go for a walk or enjoy the beautiful, unspoiled nature by bike. The ice age landscape in Odsherred is unique - and crucial for today's Odsherred. Take a walk along the Gravhøj route and experience the Ice Age landscape, the Stone Age dolmens and Bronze Age burial mounds, the Hempel Glass Museum and the Odsherred Museum.
Or visit Næsholm Castle, located on a small island in Lake Nygård between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. Kids will love seeing the many fire engines at the Odsherred Fire Museum or taking a seal safari from Rørvig harbor. You are also close here to Sommerland Sjælland, three golf courses, 13th century Dragsholm Castle where the white ghost is said to reside. The castle is unique and scenic located on the bay of Nekselø, where you can also enjoy a culinary experience with local ingredients or visit the many art galleries.
Also worth visiting is the town of Nykøbing Sjælland, which has plenty of shopping opportunities with several supermarkets and a cozy pedestrian zone with specialty stores and cafes. Or go to Rørvig and enjoy the atmosphere at the harbor, where you can buy and enjoy freshly caught and smoked fish every day, while the children catch crabs from the pier.
