About this villa rental
At a distance of less than 500m from Moutsouna you will find a small sign pointing at Azalas, a fantastic beach, ideal for nature enthusiasts. The coastline is mostly rocky with several small coves forming in between. The panoramic view of the Aegean and the aromas from the small bushes will leave you speechless. Looking east, you will see Makares island (uninhabited, at a distance of approximately 8km) and further away Donousa island.
From the sign, the beach is only 1.5km away and no local transportation gets you there. This short scenic route can be made by car, motorbike or on foot, admiring nature’s wonders.
The shore is pebbly (with small and larger pebbles) and the sea bed is sandy. The sound of the water is mesmerizing as it leaks the shore pebbles.
Azalas is a fisherman’s paradise, mainly due to its rocky geology. There is very little accommodation there and when it comes to food, Moutsouna is the only available option nearby.

Nice area, remote from the crowds.
House is clean and functionnal (a dish washer + kettle would be a plus). Sight from the swimming pool is amazing.
The nearby area (Moutsouna / Filotti) is very scenic.
You will definetely need a car, but that's the point!

With all the humility and transparency, we have travelled all over the world and experienced many and al sorts of vacation rentals. This is by far the most extraordinary vacation rental we have stayed in.
The location and views are without a doubt the highlight of our stay. The pictures simply don’t make justice to the exceptional decor you can enjoy while staying at azaland. The views from this house are simply unique and memorable.
The environment is a pure experience of local Naxos life with rurale surroundings.
The hosts are welcoming and friendly.
The house modern and well equipped.
The pool is fabulous and our 8 year old was blessed.
The house is a minute away from a picturesque village called Moutsouna and about 15-20 minutes from two other exceptionally lovely villages and mount Zeus which is an absolute must.

Une maison admirablement située, parfaitement appropriée pour deux couples voyageant ensemble, une piscine magnifique, idéalement orientée, sans aucun vis-à-vis.
Un accueil parfait par Giannis, soucieux de notre confort au point de continuer à nous aider pour la suite de notre voyage, et un entretien quotidien par Eleni, agrémenté de délicieux gâteaux.
Un endroit à recommander pour explorer tout l'est et le sud de Naxos, encore remarquablement préservé
