About this house rental
About 3 kilometers from the village of San Leo Bastia, this medieval fortified tower welcomes you. Its four original apartments (with separate entrances, not internally connected) are rented as a unit - ideal for families and friends who want to spend their vacations together. Tasteful, rustic furnishings; garden plot with covered seating area and barbecue, and a pool with sunbathing area and unique panoramic views over the surrounding mountains and forests. The owners live in the neighboring house (100m) and will be happy to pamper guests with fresh vegetables, olive oil as well as local specialties upon request. At guests' disposal: table soccer, table tennis, slide, swing, gazebo, hammock and Hollywood swing. - From here you can reach the two cities of Cortona and Città di Castello (both about 20km) equally convenient; to Perugia (55km) and Assisi (60km) also by local train from Trestina (10km).
Please note that: Bed linen and towels are not included in the room rate in 2025; guests can rent them at the property for an additional charge of EUR 10.00 per person, or bring their own. Consumption costs are included in the room rate. Up to one pet is allowed. Outdoor private pool on site is open : medio May-end Sept..

De vakantiewoning was mooi gelegen, omgeven door bergen en bomen. Het zwembad was bijzonder netjes en groot. De eigenaars waren rustige vriendelijke mensen. We hebben van hen eitjes van hun rondlopende kippen gekregen. Op konden vragen om voor ons te koken. Voor zo'n 150 euro kregen wij een goede maaltijd voor 3 kinderen en 4 volwassenen (groenten uit eigen moestuin). Leuk. Het enige negatieve aangaande de locatie was de ligging richting Cortona. Het was minstens 30 minuten rijden om de berg af te dalen (vanwege de vele bochten) en dan kwamen wij in Cortona en vanuit Cortona startten wij een uitstap zoals richting Montepulciano enz.... Mooie streek.
