About this house rental
"Foldingbro Kro": Here you stay in an idyllic location in a former country inn directly on the Kongeå (King's Meadow). There is a private fishing spot (fishing season: 16.04.-31.10. Fishing license required) at the Au, one of the most beautiful watercourses in Denmark, which mostly meanders through green meadows. The water is pure and fertile grass grows along the banks. The course west of Grestedbro is regulated. The Königs Au is one of the best salmonid waters in Denmark and flows into the North Sea north of Ribe.
When modernizing the house, emphasis was placed on retaining the charm of the historic building, which borders the Kongeå with its back.
On the first floor, the exceptionally large dining room is the focal point. Here all guests can enjoy their meals together. Directly adjacent to the dining room are 2 living rooms. Amateur cooks can show off their cooking skills in the extremely spacious and modernly equipped kitchen.
On the first floor is the elegant pool area, which is equipped with many extras. A sauna, solarium, 4-person jacuzzi, the swimming pool itself and a bar provide for relaxing hours here. Two fully equipped bathrooms complete the comfort. If you want it more racy, go to the activity room with table tennis and play station.
The upper floor is equipped with 13 well-appointed bedrooms, 10 of them with double beds, and 5 bathrooms.
On the beautifully situated grounds, from which you have a view of the river Kongeåen, there is an 85 m² garden pavilion, which is very suitable for gatherings, be it a family party, celebrations for a company or a romantic wedding."
There are numerous excursion possibilities in this old borderland area and Ribe, the oldest Danish city, should definitely be visited in the process.
