About this chalet rental
From 2 to 14 people, completely new rental in an old farm. Quiet, close to shops. 250 meters from the departure of free shuttles (every 30 minutes) which drop you off in 5 minutes at the foot of the slopes of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand. Rental comprising 7 bedrooms, each with its own shower room and wc; Beds are made upon arrival, towels and household linen are provided. A fire place with wood stove ensures warm evenings. With its 250 m2, quality equipment, a wooden atmosphere you will spend a pleasant holiday. You can spend a relaxing time at the indoor pool heated to 28 °, swimming pool available at the 4 accommodations.

Fantastic chalet in a wonderful part of the world. Communication with the hosts Eric and Anne-Marie was prompt and accommodating and their flexibility throughout the 2 years of Covid was amazing. We booked our trip for 2020.
We were allowed to change it to 2021 then allowed the change it again to 2022. Now problem at all.
Our welcome when we arrived was more than friendly. A full tour of the property by Eric when everything we needed to know was explained.
The property was brilliant. Very traditional with everything you would ever need. It was a also amazingly well equipped and immaculately clean.
The terrace area at the back of the property was a sun trap in the afternoon an led straight into the main area of the property.
The pool is fantastic. Very popular with the 10 year old in our group. The pool is shared with the other properties (3 in total I think) in the larger building.
Less than 5 minutes walk to the centre of St. Jean de Sixt where there is several bars/restraunts, a supermarket, a couple of boulangeries, an amazing boucherie, a fantastic Pizza place, post office, tourist information centre etc.
For larger supermarkets the are a few a short drive away in neighbouring towns.
We were a mixed group of 3 couples and a 10 year old, a 14 year old and an 18 year old.
So much to do in the area for everyone. Lots around Annecy for everyone, so much going on in La Clusaz and lots to do and lots see in Le Grand Bornand.
Four of the group are (road) cyclist and it was a great base for some amazing cycling. The start of the Col d'Aravis is 400 metres from the chalet and the start of Col de la Colombiere only 3km away. Many other climbs in the area doable from the chalet. And also so many of the iconic climbs reachable if you're happy to do a short drive.
A small thing my wife wanted me to mention was the lack of drawers in our bedroom. Not a problem for me but I've done my job to mention it.

Een mooi, schoon groot sfeervol vakantiehuis. We waren met 12 personen en meer dan voldoende ruimte.
Bakker, supermarkt en bus op 5 minuten afstand. Zeker een aanrader!
