This guest house is in an excellent location. The San Silvestro Line 1 water bus stops a few minutes' walk away. The guest house is a few minutes walk from the Grand Canal. All major sites are easily accessible. The area it is in-San Polo is busy and interesting. The hotel is down a narrow Venetian road off two large squares. It feels very authentic.. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. Ours had an art deco chandelier in the Rostrato style by Angelo Barouier from Murano. Breakfast is plentiful. The owners are kind and extremely helpful.
Everything was excellent, but the less mobile could find the stairs a challenge. Let the owner know if you need a first floor room.
