Helpful staff, ample parking, nice decor and adequately clean and comfortable. Good value.

Lots of little things could improve this B&B: There was no soap in the bathroom, no shelf by the sink, and the shower cord was broken. The TV is too small and the remote control doesn’t work. WiFi available, but internet was not working. The window blind was ineffective at keeping light out. Glass panel on bedroom door affected privacy. Road noise. Very basic breakfast - cereal, toast, tea/coffee.

At £75 p/n for 2 people it wasn't an expensive place to stay. It was OK for where we needed to be in Cumbernauld for one evening. The owner's mother was very pleasant and the dogs were friendly. The bed was comfortable.

On arrival the room was pervaded by a stench of bleach and other cleaning products - we struggled to ventilate the room enough to make the smell fade. Breakfast was DIY from whatever was left out the night before i.e. cereal and toast. The first morning there was bread to make toast but this was missing on day 2 so no toast possible. Despite requesting gluten-free for one person for breakfast, no provision was made for this during our stay. People working on the farm clearly use the facility to make their evening meals, although they (or someone) did clear up afterwards which was good.
