Very central location, near many good restaurants and bakeries. Charming interior space, very cutely decorated and quite similar to the photos. Cool terrace. Not far from the beach. Well priced. Close to abundant free municipal parking lots. Pretty authentic feeling vibe. Has an outdoor shower on the terrace although it seems to be broken currently. Friendly hosts speak good English, will Whatsapp you reliably, do not require voice calls but will pick up if you do call them. In general it's a good place and we were happy with it. Would recommend, with semi-minor caveats as mentioned below.

Kitchen and bathroom cabinets inexplicably locked with chains and padlocks. Only two drinking cups, left out on the counter, and two tiny spoons, no dishsoap or sponges or dishwasher tables. This means if you drink coffee on the first morning, you have no way to wash the two coffee cups for the morning of day two and must use dirty cups, or try to pathetically rinse them with just water alone. Do you want to drink water in sweltering Italy? That's too bad, your only two cups are dirty. Do you want a glass of wine, in one of the world's best wine regions? Too bad, there are wine glasses in this vacation rental but they are locked away. Do you want to eat food in your flat? No way. Along the same lines, there are oddly positioned tables used to intentionally block access to the kitchen counter and cabinets (why!?), this takes up a bunch of weird space and makes the kitchen awkward. Similarly there are lots of towels but they are also inaccessibly padlocked and chained, they provide an extremely-parsimonious one towel per person and 0 beach towels per person, remember this is sweltering Italy, you will sweat a lot and take many showers daily, and also go to the beach very often. There is a cool loft space upstairs which is also crudely blocked off by awkward furniture on the staircase, also inexplicably. In general it feels like they have not committed to the idea of running a vacation rental, they want to let you in their flat and take your money, but not actually give you realistic/full access to the space. They are kinda hoping you will show up, pay them, and not actually do anything except sit silently on the bed and stare into space. Also, there's no AC and it's a bit loud in early mornings if you have the bedroom windows open, with barking dogs and street sweepers and screaming children and people yelling in Italian on the main street right below you.

Friendly host(was) on arrival. Beautifully furnished. Camaiore is a lovely town.
