Hotel Europe BLV

Great value for money. Not the most expensive hotel, for the paid price I had a bed, a sink and a private bathroom with shower and toilet. All I needed, nothing I didn’t need. Super friendly staff, room key is to be always deposited at the front desk. There’s always someone to let you in and you can’t lose the key. Neighborhood is very nice and safe. Lots of oriental stores and restaurants, very easy to reach by Metro lines 2 and 11.

Nice hotel in a convenient location with access to a Metro station ‘Belleville’ 2 minutes walk from the hotel.

Can get very hot in the room

Very nice family running the hotel - very accommodating and helpful, let us store our luggage before and after stay. Perfect location for lots of good restaurants and close to metro station.

The location was good. Easy access to The metro. Lots of cafes and bars near by. Great bakery for croissant 2 minutes away. It seemed a bit run down in the area but we did feel safe. Park de Bastille close by which was very lovely for a wander. Man on the front desk was very friendly and helpful. WiFi was available. Shower was fine and bathroom was clean. They provided towels which is very helpful when packing light.

Rooms didn't look anything like the pictures on the website. There wasn't a communal area as far as I saw. Room was very basic, chair had ripped seat cover. Bed sheet had holes in it. Curtain poles were a bit dodgy and fell off when you pulled them. It wouldn't take a lot to smarten up the rooms, they could do this and still keep the price low. We weren't expecting luxury so it was ok but you don't expect ripped items. There was also visible damp on one wall.
