About this villa rental
The 'Balze' landscape of rare beauty. The Agriturismo Le Balze is situated in the lower folds of the high Pratomagno mountains in the upper Arno Valley, 2Km from the village of Castelfranco di Sopra. Surrounded by beautiful countryside characterized by the presence of the 'balze', centuries-old erosion examples that in the years formed towers and rocky blades that arise majestically in the valley.The apartments, the pool and the outdoor areas. The villa, divided into three apartments out of old agricultural buildings is placed next to the owners house. It is comfortably furnished and keeps its old character by the use of traditional wood, terracotta and stone materials. On one side the villa look out to a wooden porch where there are table and chairs and a large garden area equipped with barbecue and table tennis. On the other side is a 6 x 12 m swimming pool (depth 1,40 m - open from 10 May to 15 September) completely fenced and for the guests exclusive use. At disposal a communal laundry.The farm, its products and the small restaurant. At Agriturismo Le Balze it is possible to taste and buy typical local products such as extra virgin olive oil, vegetables, game, fruit, wine etc... On the ground-floor of the owners' house there is a small restaurant ( up to 25 sits) which is open both to guests of the Agriturismo and other local clients and where you could taste delicious typical local dishes.
The villa is made of 3 apartments connected one to the other by a large wooden porch, and can accommodate up to 10 persons.APARTMENT 1: Two levels apartment. On ground floor living-dining room with kitchen corner, double bedroom with private bathroom with shower suitable for disabled, walking through sitting room, bathroom with shower. On first floor, accessible through spiral staircase from the sitting room or through external staircase, double bedroom with wide covered terrace-solarium equipped with table and chairs. APARTMENT 2: Ground floor apartment made of living-dining room with kitchen corner, double bedroom with added single bed and bathroom with shower. APARTMENT 3: Small independent house on ground floor, composed of living-dining room with kitchen corner and double sofa bed, double bedroom with added single bed and bathroom with shower. EQUIPMENT: dishwasher, filter coffee maker, Wi-Fi Internet access in the garden, small electric oven (3), table tennis, barbecue.

Het super lekkere eten van la nona aan de overkant van de parking maakte het teveel aan rondvliegend ongedierte ruimschoots goed.
