Claudio - the front manager did his best to take care about our wishes. The breakfast was typically Italian and quite good for this standard. We had chosen the hotel as a starting point for our day trips before high season, so our focus was not on the hotel per se but rather on the geographical location. In this respect it was a perfect spot for 3 days. Overall: "We booked a 8,6 rated hotel and we got what we booked… But you should read all the previous recessions do get a clear picture...
the superior double room first given to us was not the one shown on the booking side - different shower!!!. We had to change the room as the bathroom was not at all acceptable! In general you can see everywhere in the rooms or in the hotel that not much effort is spent to maintain the hotel in a way that they can get higher rankings… Their explanation is, that this is a 600 years old house ... If you take superior double room, then take only room 102 not room 103 !!!.

Very relaxing stay, lovely pool and views. Perfect for a few days and very close to san gimignano (15min drive) very easy to go visit.
Room is a little dark and dated but very clean and confortable!

Room was big and spacious! Bathroom smaller but ok. View is perfect and the surroundings. Reception really helpful alsthough some info were wrong ....
Didn't have standard kitchen appliances,such as coffe pot or electric kettle. Also check out is early (10:30am) easpecially in suck a location.
