We enjoyed a complimentary drink on arrival - what a nice idea. We were meeting a local friend so this was perfect to use the quiet part of the entry to renew our acquaintance. Great location close to the station - very short walk in ice/snow. A simple, short walk into the city centre. The room amenities are in a quirky cupboard which looks like a retro fridge ... liked it. Everything worked. Great window view. Nicely designed room.
We did not use the restaurant but it looked good.
Only had one chair and a stool. Maybe a second chair is a possibility.
Did not have Netflix as a TV option and did have a chromecast so no options other than German TV. We were not there to watch TV .... but Netflix would be useful.

Staff, location and bar make this lovely hotel well worth visiting. The rooms are comfortable with good facilities including a mini bar. Laundry service was quick and good value.
The bar area can look a bit intimidating but the staff are so nice we camped out a lot for morning coffee. They didn’t seem to mind serving us even though they were busy clearing breakfast and preparing the restaurant for the next sitting.
We wished the weather had been better to use the roof terrace or inner courtyard but wind and rain took us to the bar for drinks also.
Lovely comfortable beds the best on our trip !
Reception team friendly and a drink upon arrival was perfect even if we cluttered up the place with our kit
Parking great and easily accessed
It would be great to have a less formal dining menu option. One of our group is highly allergic to fish/ shellfish/sea food/ fish oil (anything from the sea in fact) and felt unable to be in the restaurant area. If there had been a simple bar menu we could have eaten in the bar area I am sure we would have eaten in at least 2 nights.

The family room is two rooms combined with a single door separating them. Complete waste of money.
