About this apartment rental
Apartment located in a period building from the historical period of the 1920s within the pedestrian area of Ostia with a terrace overlooking the sea. The building has different decorations and a distinctive coat of arms linked to the period in which it was built. It is one of the historic palaces of Ostia and the square has been the subject of filming in several films of famous registers.
It is the ideal choice for those who love to dive into the evening "movida" of Ostia or more simply to have breakfast in the morning with a characteristic donut by the sea.
The historic building has a double entrance both on the pedestrian square and in the back where you can admire a courtyard owned by the condominiums.
The main entrance, through a wooden door, leads to an entrance hall with a characteristic period chandelier and some mosaics painted on tiles that make the building unique.
The apartment has been recently renovated with a living room equipped with a double sofa bed for 2 people, a kitchen area furnished and equipped with all accessories. It has a double bedroom and bathroom with shower and washing machine.
The house is tastefully furnished and equipped with everything to make your stay pleasant. The kitchenette is also well stocked so you can cook to your heart's content. You will find various sizes of pots and pans, the pasta maker for cooking pasta and bowls of various sizes. You will also find crockery for your children. We have created both a coffee corner, with an electric machine (to be used with coffee powder) or, alternatively, the Moka. Instead, in the tea corner you will find an electric kettle with infusion and tea bags and sugar.
The 40 m2 panoramic terrace with a splendid view of the sea and the pedestrian area is fully furnished with table and chairs, outdoor sitting area, sun loungers. A double motorized awning allows you to protect yourself during the hottest hours. The terrace is presented with plants and flowers arranged in zones, so as to create small green islands, thus making it visibly full of colour. The small lanterns inside the plants illuminate the various areas, contributing to relaxation.
Only for short stays per night, weekly or monthly in winter and summer.
Extra charges:
- tourist tax of 6 euros per night per person for non-resident customers in Rome
- electricity, which is consumed by taking the initial reading and then the final one
Required payment of a security deposit (maximum 150.00 euros) which will be returned at the end of the stay after having ascertained the condition of the property.
Property has been renovated again in the sleeping area and in the external part. (February 2024)

This one bedroom flat was fantastic. The terrace was huge with a great view of the ocean and piazza. Centrally located on a pedestrian only street with lots of shops and restaurants. The host was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely book again.

The apartment is large with a huge outdoor area overlooking a piazza and the sea. Perfect location! Easy walk to dozens of restaurants, stores and banks. Only a 3-minute walk to the beach and 10-minute walk to the train station. Ostia Antica is only a short train ride, and you can take the train into Roma for less than $10 for a round trip.
All that being said, the best part on the property is Nadia! From booking through check out she was available and quick to respond to every question or need. When our ride didn't show up after we checked out, she still answered here phone and made sure we got a taxi before leaving us. Words can't express how good she is at making our stay better.
As for the neighbors. We had a problem with the old large, beautiful doors. And if it shut hard it causes to much noise for the neighbors. Very nice gentlemen that doesn't speak much English lives next door. I got to meet him a couple times. He helped us with the lock once. So, if you stay, please take care not to shut the door to loud. Old building and big door will make loud noise.
I would highly recommend this property. Nadia will ensure you are happy and have a memorable stay!

Only two nights but a wonderful way to wrap up my 10 days in Italy. The apartment is in a great location, and the most fully equipped rental I’ve ever encountered. Even such details as a beach tote and hat!!! Interior decorating creates a relaxing environment, and seems fairly new. Nadia is a great host. I will be back.
