This is a traditional good pub run by a landlord and landlady who take personal pride in the good service they provide. In a lovely location it has good accommodation at a reasonable cost and excellent food

breakfast was excellent and food in bar very good. staff friendly and helpful.
no restaurant open on a sunday evening and bar shut at 9pm! surely the room rate should be reduced on a sunday to reflect this.
