Lakeside villa, sleeps 8, ideal for 2 couples and 4 children (the bunk bed and sofa bed are comfortable for children or teenagers) in 3 bedrooms. Villa Coccodrilla is a unique and romantic place just minutes from Gargnano and Toscolano Maderno. The villa is built on the lake's cliff, with its verandas and terraces directly overlooking the lake. The villa sits on the lake's edge like a contented crocodile, ready to slide into the water—hence the name "Coccodrilla." The house was built in the 1960s by renowned Belgian architect Leon Stynen as a personal vacation home and has been featured in various magazines. Recently renovated, it features a new kitchen and bathrooms.

Bedrooms: Sleeps 8 in 3 bedrooms, all with beautiful lake views. The bedrooms include a double bedroom with a private bathroom, balcony, and air conditioning, a bedroom with a bunk bed, and a family suite with air conditioning, a double bed, and a sofa bed that opens to two single beds.
Bathrooms: 2.5 bathrooms, one ensuite to the double bedroom, one with access to the other two bedrooms, and a half bathroom off the upstairs living area with a sink and toilet.
Kitchen: New, fully equipped kitchen with all major and minor appliances, including a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and Nespresso coffee machine. Seating for 8 at the dining room table.
Lounge: Bright and spacious living room with stereo and TV, large sofa seating 8-10, and stunning lake views.
Outdoor Dining: Spacious porch with stereo music, overlooking the lake, marble table seating 8 and outdoor seating.
Private Lake Access & Dock: There is private lake access and a private dock, also useful as a short-term boat mooring for boats no larger than 6-8 m.
Garden: Private garden on terraced levels with steep slopes, with trees and flowers.
Air conditioning: in the living room and in the two double bedrooms.
Media: TV with Astra satellite.
Wi-Fi included.
Canoe provided: A kayak-style canoe is available for guests' use, along with necessary accessories.
Other: Washing machine and ironing board in the utility room, safe, and hairdryer in all bathrooms.
Parking: 2 total parking spaces. Parking for 1 car in the garage (shared with the neighbor) and 1 outdoor parking space (inside the property).
Pets: Pets are welcome in the villa. There is a pet fee of 100 euros per animal

The villa is located on the main road just before Bogliaco, a small village that is part of the town of Gargnano. Though the villa is on the main road, the road is above, at the top of the hill, and the villa is nestled right down at the bottom of the hill by the lake, so your privacy is absolute and the road is not too noisy. You can reach Bogliaco in just a few minutes on foot (about 500 meters, but along the busy road so not a tranquil stroll), where you will find a couple of good bars for your morning capuccino as well as the restaurant “Allo Scoglio”, one of our absolute favourites for fish, with a lake front terrace and very child friendly. Gargnano town centre is another 1.5km down the road, and here you will find a number of small shops, 2 restaurants with a michelin star (Tortuga and Villa Feltrinelli) as well as a number of other excellent restaurants and pizzerias. Here you will also find the lake garda ferry port, where you can catch a ferry to any other port on the lake. In the other direction, about 5km down the road, you will find the city of Toscolano Maderno, a small city with all the services for the local villages and towns. Here you will find the large supermarkets, many restaurants and pizzerias, a fantastic weekly market (thursday mornings), and another ferry port. For golfers, the Bogliaco Golf club is just around the corner, in the hills just above the villa.

You can't be closer to the water than in this place. A real pearl for fans of 60s architecture. A small drawback is that the sun sets quite early. Nevertheless, absolutely recommendable!

The house is great.
The views , the garden etc.
In the kitchen there should be ore electricity points for appliances.
The furniture outside is outdated and partly broken. The chairs around the table and the siiting outside should be renewed.
The garden needs more care.
The pots on the balcony are filthy and need cleaning.

The location is perfect.
Get nice modern furniture outside.
Both lounge set as chair at the dining table.
Use cotton sheets and duvets.
Advertise the house for 4 adults ( the other beds are to short for adults to use).
