Super friendly restaurant staff however super difficult to access if travelling on public transport as nearby shuttle busses don't seem to operate as per schedule. Hence ended up hitch hiking to the funicular but missed my connection so ended up late at the start of my trail race in Sierre. Such a pity. A hotel shuttle would have been so much more convenient but staff couldn't offer it at the time.

Came for a few days in January and loved it. Stunning views, very friendly and helpful staff. Facilities a little limited compared to other hotels I’ve been staying at in the area but nothing major.
The only real caveat I’d say is if you’re wanting to come in the summer. I came in the winter and the rooms were very warm/stuffy during the day (the sun pours directly into them for most of the day). There is no AC so at night you’d need to keep your balcony door open to keep it cool but when I did that some bugs came in - could see that being a bigger issue in the summer.

Booked this hotel due to price and location. Staff was great and very helpful. The room had a great view of the valley and surrounding area. The room is definitely dated and there was no airflow in the room creating a smell in the room. The menu at the restaurant was small and food was just ok. It was nice having a shuttle to the lift in the morning but if you plan to travel into town make sure you rent a car as I was told the area bus doesn’t run late at night.
