The room was large and comfortable. The location was perfect. The dining/breakfast room was beautifully situated overlooking the river. The staff were friendly.
The facilities were excellent. There was plenty of hot water for the bath but the cold water wasn't coming through and so we had to abandon the bath and shower instead. The shower was great. But we would have liked to have a bath too.

Room clean once accessed!
Access to second floor bedroom via staircase impossible with luggage. Small lift way too slow.
Reception gave printed paper with WiFi info. Didn’t work, returned to receptionist who hand wrote the correct information.
Tiny shower.

This is an individual and interesting hotel, with kind and with kind and professional staff, with an attractive restaurant by the river Indre.
The 'new' chef did not provide the quality of cuisine which has made the restaurant so attractive. The 'amuse bouche' did not amuse and the entree and main course, whilst well presented, lacked flavour and balance.
