About this house rental
Recent house in a small development, in dead end. The orientation to the south ensures an excellent sunshine and you will enjoy the 90 m2 garden sheltered from the wind. The house is functional and benefits from all amenities. Quiet location that will assure you tranquility, close to the beach (600 m) and the center of Wissant (400 m). You will find all shops (supermarket, butcher, fishmonger, bakery) as well as a pharmacy.
Warning: recently the hedge on the side of the field has been replanted (see photo), the shrubs are not yet fully expanded, but the alley is not very transient.
The house is newly built and fully equipped. The lounge-dining room of 40 m2 is nice and bright. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary utensils and you will have a complete household appliances (microwave, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner, iron, raclette machine). You can enjoy the garden with the necessary equipment at your disposal (parasol, barbecue, deck chairs). Bedroom 1: 1 double bed (140x200) and 1 single bed (90x190), bedroom 2: 1 double bed (140x200) and bedroom 3: 2 single beds (90x200). Sheets and towels are not provided, but pillows and duvets are available in each room.
The small housing estate in which the house is located is a 5 minute walk from the village center and 8 minutes from the beach. It is very quiet and constitutes an impasse which limits the circulation. A parking space is at your disposal in front of the house.
We can accept 1 pet but we ask you to contact us first.
Wissant is 10 km from the motorway exit A16 / E402 (Exit N ° 38) leading to Paris / Ostend / Lille and 16 km from the Calais-Frethun TGV station.
Wissant is a medium-sized seaside resort that has retained a village feel. Many activities are proposed in the village which has a tennis course and a water sports club (sand yachting, kite surfing, stand-up paddle ...). There are several restaurants on the dike and in the village and a nice bar-restaurant on the beach open in the summer. Numerous hikes are marked all around the village and allow in particular to join the 2 caps which offer magnificent points of view.
A fee of 50 euros for weekend cleaning is to be expected in addition.

The house was nice and reasonably equipped. It has a little front garden to sit outside and barbecue, which was great.
Cleanliness was okay, some cobwebs in a few corners. The toilet on the second floor seems to have an issue plumbing, there was a little bit of odour and a note to only use it of peeing.
Access to the beach is great, just a short walk.
Unfortunately, during our stay the TV did not work; there was an issue with the antenna which could not be resolved.

We spent one week in beautiful Wissant. The house was well equipped and a nice landlord, who was always available via mobile and email. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are planning to come next year!
