About this apartment rental
Very nice apartment on the 2nd floor of a building of 8 apartments, 5 min walking to the center of Rethymno town. Very peacful place with sea - view & country side view. Situated in the nice neighborhood of Mastabas, in the north side of Rethymnon, ideal to explore the town on foot. Spacious, sunny, decorated in a modern and relaxing way.

We are going to be there to welcome you and show you around our home when you arrive, we are explaining everything and having a list with some suggested places to visit.
The appartment features double windows, that are completely sound proof, it is fully air-conditioned and we provide you with clean bed linen and towels and bath amenities. Upon arrival, welcome packet & bottles with wine & raki of our product will be waiting for you.
There is also a washing machine, a steam - iron and a hair dryer, and you can connect to the Internet through a wireless connection in the entire apartment. The modern kitchen is fitted with all the amenities you'll need to dine in when not enjoying the fantastic selection of restaurants in the vicinity. These include microwave, oven, hobs and complete sets of cutlery, crockery and glasses.
The bulding is new so there is no elevator yet. You have to use the stairs to the 2nd floor.
Not suitable for persons with reduce mobility.
The external area of the building is still unfinished and the road unpaved.
Please let us know about your flight details arrival & departure and in case your arrival is delayed or cancelled in order to arrange our schedule.
Also we may arrange a car rental for you if you wish.
HOUSE RULES :
-Guests are expected not to smoke inside the apartment, respect the property and treat it like their own home. Also respect others guests that stay in neighboring apartments and avoid to be extra noisy especially during resting hours.
- Quiet Hours in Greece are between 14:30 - 17:30 and 23:00 - 07:00
- Before Leaving the apartment be sure you have switched off all the electric machines, the lights & the aircondition.
- Do not throw anything (papers , sanitary towels, earbuds etc) in the toilet. This is extremely important! Please use the bin provided. If it gets full during your stay, replacement bags can be found under the sink.
- Please respect our home applying common sense. Throw out trash when needed, clean if it is a mess or return furniture to its original position if you have moved anything around.
-Notice that the apartment is situated on the second floor and that the building does not feature an elevator . So, if you have problems climbing up the stairs, this house is not the right one for you. NOT SUITABLE FOR ELDERY PEOPLE WITH MOBILITY PROBLEMS because the building is located on a uphill road.
- We would like you to feel as much at home as possible during your stay in our house. The neighborhood of Mastabas is very safe however, you are advised to always lock the door when you are going out.

A fairly new property well laid out for a family. It is a 15 to 20 minute walk from the old town and about half of that is a hill. Apartment is high and oriented east west so the hot cretan sun can be easily kept out. There was always a delicious breeze flowing through. And you can see the sea from the wonderful covered porch.
Written directions for washing machine, oven, and stove are needed. They are complicated. We had to go to the internet. It took a while.
Manager responded quickly to questions . The best i have experienced.
Out stay in rythmno was wonderful. beautiful. restful. apartment contributed to that. you do have to be able to walk steep streets but that is noted in the description.

A very luxurious apartment situated in a central location within walking distance of a beautiful local beach and shops, unfortunately the location is not suitable for anyone with mobility issue. Pelagia the host was fantastic, always answered our queries very swiftly. She was extremely helpful in assisting us when we had to leave early due to a family emergency. Hoping to return soon.

Een hele goede locatie, max 10 min lopen naar het centrum. De gastvrouw is erg vriendelijk! Haalde een boodschapje voor ons voor de eerste dag en we hebben een avond heerlijk gegeten toen ze voor ons had gekookt! Echt een kijkje in de griekse cultuur zo!
Communicatie was erg gemakkelijk via whatsapp en ook waren de eigenaren flexibel en heel vriendelijk!

We hebben hier met ons gezin (2 volwassenen en 2 tieners) 2 heerlijke weken gehad in augustus.
Wat anderen hiervoor beschreven klopt allemaal; een fantastisch mooi en schoon appartement. We zullen wat punten benoemen die nog niet beschreven staan.
3 grote slaapkamers met zeer goed werkende airconditioning. Direct na inschakelen een voelbaar koelere kamer. Alle slaapkamers zijn voorzien van een balkon. De woonkamer/eetkeuken is heel ruim en werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien.
Ons favoriete plekje in het appartement was op het overdekte balkon, waar je van ’s morgens vroeg tot ’s avonds laat heerlijk kan zitten, er waaide altijd een heerlijk windje.
Het contact met Pelagia en Elena is heel prettig geweest.
Voor aankomst hebben we fijn overleg gehad ivm COVID 19 en waren zij zeer meedenkend over de mogelijkheden.
Bij aankomst werden we heel hartelijk ontvangen door Elena, zij liet ons het appartement zien en heeft tips gegeven over de omgeving en de wandel- sluiproute door een bosje naast het appartement, zodat je de steile heuvel niet hoeft te bewandelen richting het centrum. Prima te doen; binnen 10 minuten ben je in het centrum. In het donker terug lopen is je zaklamp van je telefoon een handig hulpmiddel om het donkere paadje te verlichten.
Tijdens ons verblijf werden we 2x verwend met overheerlijke maaltijden; Griekse lamsschotel met groenten en aardappelen en zelfgemaakte pizza.
Toen het koffiezetapparaat kapot ging tijdens ons verblijf, hebben we dit gemeld en werd dezelfde dag een nieuw apparaat gebracht!
Wat ook heel prettig was; dat we onze huurauto onderin de parkeergarage konden parkeren, zodat we altijd in een koele auto konden stappen, heel aangenaam met de Griekse zon.
Het was een hele fijne vakantie in dit luxe appartement in een mooi land, heel fijn contact met Elena en Pelagia. Wij kunnen je dit appartement van harte aanbevelen!
