While the hotel is overall peaceful and relaxing, several aspects fell well below expectations for a 5-star property.
During the low season, there were no dining options available, and the breakfast was by far the most careless and minimal I’ve had at any luxury hotel. The spa was particularly disappointing — the bottom of the pool had visible peeling paint, and after soaking for just over 20 minutes, my eyes began to sting so badly I couldn’t keep them open. It was the first time I’ve ever left a hotel spa early and had no desire to return.
Everything else was fine, but for a hotel with a 5-star label, these issues should not be happening.and no cabs at all in the town
