Great little hotel, very close to the station and port, great value for money.

Rooms are small but great if you only need a place to sleep. We use this hotel al lot for ease.

Location and friendly staff

Room is noisy. I could hear everything from other rooms, the corridor and the street. Breakfast is poor.

Hotel France is very clean, safe, quiet, and friendly. It is easy to walk to everything. I was awakened every morning by the aroma of fresh warm pastries! I would definitely stay here again!! I posted pictures of how to easily get to Hotel France from train station. Go to platform C and walk all the way to the end, turn LEFT and walk all the way to the end of the tunnel. You will enter a small court yard, walk a little to the right and look for a small set of stairs next to the cafe. Go down the stairs and turn to the left, Hotel France is right there. Google directions are confusing. (my pictures loaded in reverse order)

Easy walk from the train station, but ask the tourism office for directions as Google Maps makes it harder than it needs to be. Lots of dining options nearby. 30-45 minute walk to Casino
