About this house rental
The perfect family vacation along the Oregon Coast ~ you won’t find a better view!
This three-bedroom, 2 bath home (Sleeps 7) has been completely remodeled with some of the finest finishing touches and new furniture. Two bedrooms have direct views of the ocean and lighthouse, one bedroom has a partial view of the ocean. Perched on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, in even the stormiest weather, the view is always amazing. Hot tub recently added to back deck. (Please follow all hot tub rules.) *An additional $50 cleaning fee is required for stays 14-30 days long.
Located in the Agate Beach neighborhood at the north end of town, conveniently close to beaches, parks, restaurants, and local shops.
The beautifully remodeled kitchen with brand new appliances has plenty of prep space ~ you can even see the view of the ocean from the kitchen island! Lounge on the couch in the living room and take in the panoramic view, enjoy the cozy fire in the fireplace, or watch a movie. Whatever you do, you will surely enjoy your time.
Also included are a washer and dryer, Wifi and four flatscreen TVs with cable.
Visible from this home, is the historic Yaquina Head Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse in Oregon, first lit in 1873 and now open for tours. Walk through the Yaquina Head Outstanding Natural Area to explore the tidepools and do some birdwatching. Or, catch a current movie at the Newport Cinema, less than a half-mile from your front door right across Hwy 101.
A rough path to the beach is located one block south (a steady foot may be required). Easier beach access is just two miles south to the Agate State Beach Recreation Site where you can walk along the beach or play in the water. Or, continue south to downtown Newport for the world-famous Oregon Coast Aquarium and fun attractions like Ripley's Believe It Or Not, The Wax Works, and the Oregon Undersea Gardens, all just four miles away along Newport's historic bay front.

We love it so much that it’s become a Thanksgiving tradition! We have already booked it for Thanksgiving next year which will be our third year at Fort Awesome for the holiday. We love cooking here and enjoying our sweet Duck for the holiday.

We appreciate how clean and comfortable this home was. Was very relaxing, which we liked.Though we had highly anticipated using the hot tub ( we are missing ours) it was not at all clean enough to get in.

We had a wonderful stay in Newport! The home was beautifully appointed, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The view was absolutely stunning — the perfect backdrop for morning coffee or evening sunsets. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic stay.

Had a ant problem on counters. Might need house sprayed. Also sheets had a stain on them in big king bed and the blankets in childrens room smelled of pee when we went to use them.
