About this house rental
Newly remodeled 5-bedroom, 3-bath beauty in the woods in an excellent, safe, and scenic South Tahoe subdivision (Montgomery Estates). Sleeps 10 adults. The beds provided are: king-size bed in the downstairs' master bedroom, king-size bed in the upstairs' master bedroom, and four bunk beds in the remaining three upstairs' bedrooms (each bunk bed has a full-size mattress on the bottom and a twin on top). You can enjoy the beauty and serenity surrounding this wonderful home located off the beaten path, and yet be near all of South Lake Tahoe's amenities, including Heavenly Ski Resort; several nearby beaches for sunbathing, kayaking, sailing, paddle-boarding, jet-skiing, boating, fishing, water-skiing or wake-boarding; trails for mountain biking, backpacking, or hiking; nearby restaurants and shops; and the casinos and showrooms nearby at Stateline, Nevada. You'll be only 20 minutes away by car if you opt to visit spectacular Emerald Bay, Fannette Island, and Vikingsholm; Fallen Leaf Lake; or Cave Rock (NV) or Bliss (CA) state parks. If you love the outdoors, this is the place to be: skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, sledding, and snowmobiling in the winter; hiking, road- or mountain-bike cycling, running, backpacking, camping, golfing, swimming, and sunbathing in the spring, summer, or fall. There are also four major gaming casinos with nightly entertainment only 10 minutes from the house. Or seek further seclusion by driving or hiking to several nearby alpine lakes, including Fallen Leaf Lake, Upper or Lower Echo Lake, Cascade Lake, Star Lake, Marlette Lake, or Spooner Lake. I actually think that the house looks much better in real life than in the pictures. The house was clean and the host responsible. One downside was that the oven wasn’t working during our stay but we made it work.

We rented the property for a trip to heavenly resort to do some snowboarding. The house was great and located within 10 minutes of the California main lodge at heavenly. Rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were all great and had everything we needed. Would definitely book again.

It said coin laundry so I thought I had A washer and dryer and it does not. I like to keep my clothes clean and wash before I leave so no washer and dryer.
