Villa Rosa is a beautiful 400 year old cottage transformed into a 21st luxury home nestled into the Tuscan hillside within a few minutes’ drive or leisurely walk into vibrant Hill Top town of Cortona. Couples love it, families & friends love it. It is heaven.
Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully furnished house (linen supplied, including pool towels), easy indoor/outdoor living areas with a stunning pool.
You will find that Villa Rosa is perfectly located for exploring Italy/Tuscany and a tranquil haven that instills a very special calm that makes for a fabulous holiday.
Getting to us is easy. Via car, or pickup from the airport or by train to the local station. Which ever way you travel, you are pleased to discover that you drive straight to the front gate and are not challenged with steep, narrow single lane, hairpin turns and gravel roads. Villa Rosa is Bliss.

Wir haben uns sehr erholt. Das Haus und das Grundstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Lage ist hervorragend mit kurzen Wegen in die toskanischen und umbrischen Städte. Das Städtchen Cortona ist unser großer Faavorit

My family of four (2 adults, 2 teens) loved staying at Villa Rosa! First the views are so impressively beautiful. The grounds are very well maintained with a fig tree, lemon trees, olive trees, and lavender. There are flat areas and terraced areas and it was extremely private and serene. The pool was very refreshing with endless views. The house was the perfect size for our family and we dined outside a few nights under the wisteria trellis. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with salts, oils, spices, and all the utensils and cooking gear you may need as well as a great coffee/espresso maker. The items in the house were very well organized so you could find almost anything you can think of from flashlights to lighters. We loved Christine’s collection of books on her numerous bookshelves and my kids both finished two books in the 5 days we were there. This was a beautiful escape near the town of Cortona, where we spent many nights walking along the public garden into town. It can be a steep walk in the heat wave we had so sometimes we drove to the tennis courts and walked from there. Oh and without any advertisement, Villa Rosa is situated right next to the famed Villa Bramasole from “Under the Tuscan Sun”. It’s literally right next door, but you’d never know it. I might not have booked if I knew that because I’d be fearful of tourists, but despite being there in late June, there was no fanfare and it sat quietly and beautifully alone. It is a lovely sight with beautiful gardens too!
