Pretty much everything except the lack of restaurant service on a Sunday. Good value and good location with good parking.
No food on Sunday evening. Brasserie recommended by staff was nice but with an extremely limited menu (quiche, bread, etc.).

The hotel is in a perfect situation for visiting the outstanding sights of Bourges. There is on-site garage parking.
A couple of days before we were due to arrive at the hotel, from our farmhouse holiday in the Dordogne, we were notified that the air conditioning was broken. Given that heat wave conditions were forecast, this was bad news. The hotel offered free cancellation, but did not offer advice or help about alternative accommodation. At the hotel we learned by accident that the air conditioning was not working on our floor, but was working on the floor above. I wrote to the manager, asking why we had been allocated a room with no air conditioning. I still have received no reply. Normally a four star Best Western in France supplies dressing gowns, slippers, toiletries. There were none in our room: they were available on request, presumably in the hope that not all guests would ask for them.
