About this house rental

On the path of the cycle route 'VIA Rhona' at the foot of the waterfall Glandieu heart of waters Lands, old terraced farm with the owners, independent, with courtyard, barn to house the car and garden 900 m2 field.
On the ground floor, a kitchen and a large room of 40 m2, with wood burning stove to complement the winter evenings by the fireplace, a small room for the washing machine and toilet.
Upstairs, 3 bedrooms, bathroom, dressing room and 1 toilet.
Single heating system for the winter and air conditioning for the summer.
A large courtyard east side insulates the house from the street of the village, the old barn used as a garage. Garden, grass, shade, sun, sun loungers, not overlooked, except sometimes the horses in their meadow, box or their working career (18m * 38m), equipment that is available for people who want to house their horses for hiking in the area.
Russian bath: real 'Bania', manufactured in Siberia, comfort after a day outdoors!
Opportunity to be delivering road bikes or mountain bikes on the day of arrival to discover the small country roads, cycle route, forest roads, or go climbing the mythical passes of Savoy, who are both 1-2 h drive by motorway.
On the other bank of the Rhone, the Walibi water park.
A one hour drive, the Villars Dombes Bird Park.

The place had an amazing atmosphere, and the host was so generous, welcoming and nice. The house held good temperature and the beds were good. The kitchen was well equipped, and the garden/outdoor area was really nice. A quiet and peaceful neighborhood, surrounded by beautiful nature. The host was helpful and gave us recommandation for great beaches and other excursion that we really liked. Both adults and children would like to come back some day.

A beautiful remodeled place in a small town. Easy walking in the area and to see the waterfall. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. We easily had time to visit the area and relax with the view in the back yard.

The property is very well equipped and spacious. It is located in pleasant surroundings with fruit trees and gardens to the side and rear. It is a shame that some of the original character of the house has been lost during renovations. High-spec kitchen is a definite plus point; no ventilation in the two toilets is a significant downside. Best part of this property is the hospitality and generosity of the hosts, who treated us to home-produced wine, apple juice, fruit and vegetables, and made us feel completely welcome..

Myself, my daughter and her husband, and my 2 grandsons (aged 5 and 2) spent a week here in July/August. We found the property and gardens to be spacious, well equipped, safe and clean. Dealing with Francoise via phone and email was always a pleasure. meeting her and her family, an absolute delight! The local produce left for us was a lovely surprise and we so enjoyed the apple juice pressed from her very own fruit! The village of Glandieu is a picture postcard with the most beautiful waterfall literally just across the road, 50 metres away. We hired a car, which is a necessity, and visited lots of lakes, vinyards, and places of interest and beauty, all within a 40 minute drive. All in all we had the most wonderful holiday and would love to return in the future.
