About this apartment rental
Our end of 2016 renovated with a lot of passion and equipped with a new bathroom apartment is located at the end of the dead end, right on the edge of the forest in an apartment building with six apartments in 76848 Schwanheim.
Schwanheim is a small village with 580 inhabitants and is idyllically located in the middle of the Palatinate Forest between Dahn, Hauenstein and Annweiler am Trifels.
My Blackbird Nest is a non-smoking apartment and equipped with everything that contributes to the comfort of home.
In the apartment is wireless and telephone and German landline inclusive.
The blackbird nest has a 25sqm terrace (west side) with garden furniture and awning. There you can round off the day and enjoy the evening sun.
The living room with kitchen is also about 25 square meters and has a new, fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a couch for lounging and resting. In the Amselnest there is a LED Smart TV (DVB-T2) with HDMI connection. A DVD player is available. Some DVDs are available in the apartment.
In the living room is a stereo with CD player available.
The kitchen is equipped with ceramic hob, oven, hood, dishwasher, fridge with *** - freezer, microwave, 2 coffee machines (1x Senseo, 1x filter), kettle, toaster and egg cooker.
The living room has a stove, firewood is free.
The entire apartment can also be heated with environmentally friendly, because energy-saving, infrared heaters.
The bedroom is furnished with a double bed without foot in a comfortable height of 60cm top mattress (1.80x2.00m), a wardrobe and two men's servants.
A cot (70x120cm) with mattress and a high chair are available.
The bathroom with shower was installed in 2016. The washing machine may be used free of charge. Drying stand and clamps are available.
The apartment is allergy friendly since there is no carpet. The existing rugs are washed regularly in the machine.
You can park your car / bicycles / motorbike in the lockable single garage.
A dog may be brought along (5 € / night) as long as cushions and beds are reserved for people.

Several mountain bike routes lead directly through Schwanheim, hiking trails through the great Palatinate Forest and many premium hiking trails here right on the doorstep.
In 10 minutes walk you reach the village cafe Bayer where you can provide bread, rolls and cakes, as well as a butcher who also runs a small food assortment. The restaurant "Zum alten Nußbaum" in the center of Schwanheim spoils you with excellent regional cuisine.
The factory outlet of the "Ranger" shoe factory is located at the entrance to Schwanheim.
Enjoy the tranquility in Schwanheim, recharge your batteries and listen to the sounds of nature. Watch deer and deer from the terrace, listen to the woodpecker at the cave. The landscape and nature is just awesome and I love her ...

Sehr ruhige, naturnahe Lage, die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet undvor allem mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Da merkt man, dass Frau Schlipp wirklich Herzblut in ihre Ferienwohnung steckt, vielen Dank dafür!

Wir waren zu zweit mit unserer Hündin Emma von Montags bis Freitags in der FeWo Amselnest und haben uns auf Anhieb wohl gefühlt. Es war alles vorhanden, gepflegt und sauber.
Wir waren zum Wandern dort. Von Schwanheim aus, geht das sehr gut, besonders der Buntsandsteinpfad hat uns super gefallen.
Danke auch an Laura von oben drüber, die uns mit Suppe und Kuchen versorgt hat...😋

Das nebenstehende Foto zeigt die Aussicht von der nach Norden gerichteten Terrasse.
Die im Grunde schöne Wohnung ist leider recht kühl im Oktober und auch feucht. Schade. Die Vermieterin ist um netten, persönlichen Kontakt zu ihren Gästen sehr bemüht. Das ist sehr angenehm.
