Beautiful room with great location for visiting the Peninsula.
Would prefer they serve coffee and breakfast at 7:30 as many clients were east coast or central time.

Seven Gables Inn is a most wonderful place.
Literally “full of wonder” with a delightful feeling of time travel to a past with charm and character.
This Victorian provided the best stay I could have wished for.
Close to Carmel and Monterey, on the spectacular pacific coastline with beach access right across from the hotel, and a short walk to the charming shopping area with great little shops, cafes and restaurants.
If you are looking for modern and soulless - this place is not for you.
If you appreciate a place with old world charm, comfort, a beautiful garden, right by the ocean, and a plentiful good breakfast, this is it!
I was lucky to have a room with unobstructed views onto the Pacific Ocean and saw sunrise and dolphins swimming by while having a cup of coffee in the morning (a good drip coffee provided in room).
I would love to stay here again!
I had a garden room with great views, but lacking a bit of privacy.
I was surprised that I did not mind it much as it had shutters to adjust for day and night time and I could open them completely during the day, and at night I could close all the shutters.
Surprisingly I would happily stay in the same room again!
