Room was comfortable and well equipped and with a walk in shower as we requested and in the ground floor block which was good as we had our dog with us. We had dinner and breakfasts and food was good quality "pub" grub! The two young staff who served us in the bar & restaurant were excellent - friendly and efficient

Friendly staff, once we found them, and the pub looked great.
More of a pub with rooms. No one on reception when we arrived, so had to fight my way across crowded bar to find someone. I’m not sure if this is normal or just particularly busy in the build up to Christmas.
We had the top floor family room, and the noise from the road all night meant we really couldn’t get a good nights sleep, despite the comfy beds. Heating was from electric heaters, which we struggled to get right, though not really the hotels fault.
