Stayed three nights and have stayed several times before - parking directly outside the hotel, spacious rooms and good breakfast. Nice outdoor seating areas. Staff and the owner are really nice and helpful. Right beside one of the city gates, cafes and restaurants on the upper level. Supermarket just across the road. There is a trust bar available - the bottled water if free. Meersburg is just lovely - a lot of cafes, restaurants and a few bars on the lower level - we had 2 lovely dinners in the Arker Italian and walked to Hagnau and Haltnau on different days.
The stairs are hard on older knees as is the hill from the lower level back up to the upper level of the town.

Cozy, homey feel, with a perfect location for exploring Meersburg and the area around Bodensee. Walking distance (like 30 meters) to the old town part. Excellent service and personell, and lovely breakfast!
A little noisy from traffic in the morning, but not that noticeable with windows closed.
