This Gite de Charme is very luxurious and tastefully decorated, surrounded by a landscaped garden with terraces with a beautiful view over the rolling hills of the Morvan-Sud. Very quiet.

Beautiful gardens and unobstructed views of pasture and hills. Beautifully furnished country house surrounded by gravel patios with several indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Good shower, bathtub, dishwasher, washer/dryer. Lovely, quiet rural setting. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Town of Luzy is a short drive for groceries, post office, a restaurant, and hair salon. Each bedroom has a bathroom plus there is a toilet at the upstairs landing. Interior felt a bit run down and the third bedroom/attic/nursery was full of insects (caterpillars, bees,…). But overall we very much enjoyed our two weeks in this amazing location. Beauty and peace in and out. A dream spot and a good value. Merci!

The nature, the biodiversity, the quietness, the wideness around the house are breath-taking. Extraordinary features of the house are the natural building materials, the cosy living room with fireplace, and – for music talented visitors – the grand piano. Specials on the property are the old trees, and the many spots to sit, drink, and dine. Thinking about suggestions of improvement, the kitchen and bathrooms would need a little uplift, and in face of hot summers and the necessary ventilation the bedroom windows need insect screens. In total we had a gorgeous week!

Wir haben einen schönen Urlaub in geschmackvollem Ambiente verbracht. Die Sitzmöglichkeiten ums Haus waren traumhaft und wir konnten in der Hitze immer ein schattiges Plätzchen finden.

Das Haus befindet sich direkt außerhalb des Dörfchens Chiddes. Obwohl es an einer kleinen Strasse liegt war es ausgesprochen ruhig. Der Garten ist ein kleines Paradies, es gibt unzählige Sitzplätze und Ecken für jede Wetterlage. Leider haben uns die Inneneinrichtung und die Sauberkeit nicht überzeugt. Insbesondere die Küche war nicht gut gereinigt, viele Kochutensilien bereits beschädigt (bspw. die Kaffeekanne der Kaffeemaschine). Zudem stießen wir bei der Suche nach einer Kaffeekanne auf 2 Kannen in denen noch Flüssigkeit vorhanden war, die bereits schimmelte. Dem Interieur würde an vielen Stellen eine Auffrischung nicht schaden. Alles in allem dennoch ein schöner Urlaub ...
