Right in the center of Tignes le Lac, departure and arrivals 'skis on foot', right in the very large Tignes-Val d'Isere ski domain (Espace Killy with 300km of ski slopes, 88 ski lifts and 156 ski slopes) large appartment of 180 sqm with 6 bedrooms (1 of which with 2 bunk beds), 5 bathrooms, entirely refurbished in 2022 with high quality furnishing, wood and stones.

- Firstly, the view from the large picture window in the lounge/diner was superb - looking across the Lake and up the Toviere mountain.
- The apartment was clean and generously equipped.
- The location for skiing was excellent. We chose to walk down the road to the Palafour chair, some 5 to 10 mins. There was also a drag lift just across the road; however we found it a little ‘fierce’ and only used it once - however the draglift’s slope made it a great way to ski back to the apartment.

We had the best vacation in the appartment. Cedric replied quickly to our enquiries before the trip and Asia took care of us on the actual vacation week. The appartment was well suited for at least 10-12 persons and it had all what we needed. Great variety of kitchen accessories especially raclette pan and hot stone were nice addiktion. Thank you very much Cedric and Asia:)

As two families of four we had more than enough room in this flat and in fact used the smaller bunk room as a dressing room for two of the children! The quality of the living space, kitchen and bathrooms sets this place apart from other ski apartments I have been to. We went to bed watching the piste bashers get to work on the mountain opposite and then woke up to an incredible panorama every morning. Crucially, Cedric was incredibly quick to answer any questions that we had either before the holiday or during it. He speaks excellent English and couldn't be more helpful. The apartment complex was very quiet in the week before Christmas and we barely met anyone else the whole time. This was good for us, as we had the separate room across the hall but never bumped into another guest so it didn't feel too detached. Only drawback is that the WiFi doesn't stretch into that bedroom but otherwise fast and reliable. Private ski locker right by the lift and heated boot rack very welcome. The drag lift outside the door was only open in the second half of the week but the walk into town is very quick regardless. Lagoon pool is free for use with a week's family pass and was a good option when kids got too tired. Moose Bar happy hour between 4-6pm is worth a shout and there is very easy access to a couple of other bars just outside the back door. We preferred Sherpa supermarket to Carrefour and ate in every night since the kitchen was so good and sociable. SOS Pizza is 50 yards away and takeaway a nice break from cooking if you like. The skiing is best suited to intermediates and off-piste, though beginners will find plenty. For what it's worth, our favourites run was the red - 'Orange' - that runs from above the tree line and then down to La Daille. Only suggestion to improve would be a few more pillows, so bring some extras if you are like us and need more than one, plus hand towels for the bathrooms!
