Free Wifi. A spacious, bright flat in the heart of the peacefull village of Tessennano (south Maremma 400mt./1132ft. above sea level). The temperature in the flat is fresher than outside in summer, assuring very pleasant nights! Perfect to visit the treasures of Etruscan art, the medieval villages, the Renaissance palaces and enjoy the beautiful seaside along the Mediterranean coast and Lake Bolsena, and the hot water spas, as well as taste the typical local produce (wine, olive oil, artichokes, asparagus, meat and cold cuts, cheeses, hazelnuts, chestnuts, etc) in the area’s lovely restaurants. All these opportunities are at no more than a 5 to 45 minute car drive from the flat.

The apartment is smartly furnished and fully equipped; it has 2 bedrooms, one with double bed and one with two single beds; a living room with a sofa, fireplace and open-plan kitchen; a bathroom with a spacious shower cabin, toilet, bidet and sink. An external staircase with 15 steps reaches the entrance door. A further 12 steps inside the flat lead to the living room. The flat has during winter its own gas-fired heating. On request: on the ground floor, there is an independent small room organised as a bedsit with bathroom en suite (shower, toilet, sink, bidet).

Excellent appartment with even better host!
The appartament is very clean and equiped with everything you need for comfortable stay. Kitchen equipement is especially impressive!
Donatella is a warm and very helpful person. She provided as with detailed guide what to see and where to eat in the area.
We had only 4 days, so was able to use only small part of Donatella's recommendations.
We were really satisfied with our stay in Tessennano.

This appartment was spot on! Exactly what we wanted for a family vacation in Italy. It was located in a village in the country side just 1,5 h from the airport. Close to sightseeing, the ocean and the lovely lago di Bolsena. The owner met us with a warm welcome and made us feel at home. We really fell in love with this part of Italy. Thank you Donatella for helping us with suggestions and everything!

We stayed 2 wonderfull weeks in this lovely apartment in the middle of peacefull Italian countryside village. The apartment was really nicely furnished and so fully equipped that we couldn't miss anything. We were very impressed when our fantastic hostess Donatella warmly wellcame us with a great package of local delicacies and a lot of maps and tips of places to visit around Tessennano. There are a huge amount of interesting attractions just a short drive away from Tessennano and not least worth experiencing lovely, refreshing lake Bolsena just 20 min drive from the village to spend a relaxing day between attractions. We warmly can reccommend this gorgeous apartment to anyone to be attracted Italian countryside and historical places to visit around Tessennano!

We are a retired Australian couple and have spent much of our lives travelling the world, staying in all types of accommodation.
This apartment was perfect for us. Good size, bright, full of great books and local information...AND very comfortable.
It is set in a small village which gives you a real feel for the area. Within days you seem to know half the population who are open and friendly.
Quiet at night so that only the birds wake you or the lovely breezes that whisper through the village.
It really was a joy to come home to...from Lake Bolsena (great eating and swimming) fifteen minutes away OR from great Etruscan sites like Vulci and Tarquinia, OR from the sea forty minutes away. Also there are the nearby fascinating towns like Pitigliano perched high on its tufa rock and even closer Canino and Tusciania.
When we arrived the kitchen had food and wine aplenty to see us properly settled in and everything was in immaculate order.
The owner, Donatella Bini, is a delight and we are really happy to have met her and we look forward to meeting her again.
